Afterimage-Powidoki:2016:In 1945, as Stalin units his arms over Poland, well-known painter Wladislaw Strzeminski refuses to compromise on his artwork with the doctrines of social realism. Persecuted, expelled from his chair on the College, he is finally erased from the museums’ partitions. With the assistance of a few of his college students, he begins preventing towards the Occasion and turns into the image of a creative resistance towards mental tyranny.
