Ferdie Kruger is the manager of the Fransen, a boutique hotel on the outskirts of Franseburg, Mpumalanga. When the Lourier hotel group buys this diamond in the rough as their latest acquisition, they send Thomas from their headquarters to monitor the transition. Thomas’ ideas clash with Ferdie and his staff’s old-fashioned way of doing things.
