Crammed with annoying pals, a self-involved boyfriend, and a profession that she will’t convey herself to pursue, Ellie feels indifferent from her life. When she learns that her estranged alcoholic father has died, her world is disrupted and she or he begins a journey that takes her to a small city in Texas. Whereas coping with the logistical preparations of her father’s demise Ellie has to confront what occurs when the constructions and security nets we construct for ourselves come undone.
