Heartbroken Murthy eventually comes out of grief, marries his teacher’s daughter Geetha, who goes on to leave for more than an year and delivers a baby. Purandara Dasa’s rhyme sakala grahabala neene sarasijaaksha (God graces each man much more than the planets ever would) is pronounced as the theme.
