The Salt of the Earth-Le sel de la terre:2014:Over the last forty years, the photographer Sebastião Salgado has been travelling via the continents, within the footsteps of an ever-changing humanity. He has witnessed the key occasions of our current historical past: worldwide conflicts, starvations and exodus… He’s now embarking on the invention of pristine territories, of the wild fauna and flora, of grandiose landscapes: an enormous photographic undertaking which is a tribute to the planet’s magnificence. Salgado’s life and work are revealed to us by his son, Juliano, who went with him throughout his final journeys, and by Wim Wenders, a photographer himself.
